Milan, 9 February 2001 – The Board of Directors of Italmobiliare Spa today approved the introduction of a voluntary Code of Corporate Governance and the update of the Code of Ethics; during the meeting, the Board also examined the first available figures for 2000.
On the basis of the preliminary figures, a strong increase in the parent company Italmobiliare Spa’s results as well as in the Group’s consolidated results is expected.
In 2000, Italmobiliare had consolidated revenues of approximately 3,962 million euro, an improvement compared with 3,609.2 million euro in 1999. The 9.8% increase (+6.7% at constant size and exchange rates) arose from positive sales performance in all Group businesses.
The final figures will be examined by the Board of Directors meeting on next 27 March.
