Scrigno at Fuorisalone 2019
The solutions offered by Scrigno, a company controlled by the CCP3 fund, are this year once again back under the spotlight of Fuorisalone, in the ACollection project by Andrea Castrignano, an installation developed at the headquarters of Studio Castrignano, at via Adige 11, amidst the new Romana Design District®.
ACollection focuses on design in its most substantial aspect: the interior designer that has made colour and tailoring his main source of inspiration, for the first time chooses to present his creations as a product designer in a high-impact, spectacular, exciting context.
The large 400 square meter loft thus transforms into a polyhedral environment that accompanies the visitor along a truly incredible experience, aimed at discovering the ideas and hints that lead Andrea Castrignano to create exclusive spaces, where each and every element is carefully selected to become a valuable furnishing accessory.
In this sense, this year sees a renewal of the collaboration with Scrigno too, which fully embraces the philosophy at the heart of each of the designer’s works, based on an eye for detail, the search for an aesthetic form that is also functional, experiments in using materials and tailored design.
Once again, colour is the true star of the installation: ACollection provides the opportunity to unveil the new range developed by Andrea, displayed in a small area given over to the solutions thus protected and hosted by Scrigno. With a fascinating play on reflections, Mirr draws visitors’ gazes, inviting them to enter this intimate, private area. The latest creation in the Essential range, this glass swinging flush door tells of the constant commitment by Scrigno to propose innovative systems marked by superior aesthetics, details that can also be identified in the projects by Andrea Castrignano. The added value of Mirr, chosen for ACollection in a version with a polished ash lacquered glass door, is the great possibility of customization due to the wide range of different types available: an extensive pallet of colours can be chosen for the lacquered glass version, with polished or satin finish and more than 15 tempered glass options, laid out in different nuances of transparent, satin, reflex, smoky or bronze in addition to mirror, smoky mirror and bronze mirror finishes.
Mirr welcomes the public into the place that houses the very heart of ACollection, concealed by two Essential wing systems behind which Shades is hidden: the six reference colours for the collections displayed in the location are part of the new range by Andrea Castrignano, two unprecedented warm, welcoming hues, Rouille and Paris Green, and the respective tonal variations that allow for a degradé effect. The Scrigno solutions are the best testimonials: the two Essential wings are dressed in the chromic solutions chosen by the interior designer, who opts for Rouille and Paris Green and, thanks to the absence of jambs and edging trims, blend in with the walls, making for an extremely contemporary structural harmony.
“We are proud to have renewed our partnership with Andrea Castrignano for this year’s Fuorisalone too. ACollection has proved to be the ideal showcase for the presentation of the creative potential of our offer” Francesco Bigoni comments, CMO of the Scrigno Group, who goes on to clarify: “Mr Castrignano’s installation offers a concrete example of the infinite possibilities of customizing our range, which can release the whim in all designers and elevate up to real elements of design, with a clear personality.”
