Following the national event run for schools, Mattinate FAI d’Inverno, the Autogas Group, an investee of the Italmobiliare Group and main sponsor of the project, gathers the figures of a great cultural experience.

This year, enriched by the competition and survey entitled La Tua Idea Green (Your Green Idea - again in collaboration with FAI, the Italian Environmental Fund), the initiative served and will serve as a spark for teachers to disseminate the “whys and wherefores” of a more sustainable planet.

FAI and the Autogas Group: the numbers and ideas of a collaboration bursting with energy

For the third year running, the Autogas Group has chosen to collaborate with FAI in the event entitled Mattinate FAI d’Inverno, which has allowed for the opening of 175 FAI assets in 107 towns across Italy.

As main sponsor, in addition to supporting the event, it has also developed communication dedicated to the younger generations. One of the main activities completed this year was the development of a real mini website devoted to the event and the La Tua Idea Green survey, aiming to raise awareness in the younger generations about environmental sustainability, through the definition of valuable eco-advice and an ideal, possible City of Energy.

Eco-habits for the City of Energy

The survey created for the 2018 edition of Mattinate FAI involved the apprentice guides and schoolchildren of all ages and promoted awareness-raising amongst them, to matters relating to environmental sustainability and energy savings.

The figures tell us that out of 770 registered users:

• 44% are aged between 11 and 15 years old
• the survey involved 19 regions: Apulia, Liguria, Tuscany, Abruzzo and Lombardy are the top five
• 49% of the boys and girls questioned believe that the solution to safeguard the environment is to use cars with ecological fuels
• 23% chose separate waste collection, followed by 12% wanting to increase greenery in the urban environment and 8% to turn off the light when leaving a room.

The Autogas Group and FAI would like to offer their thanks for the big participation and success of this green initiative, aware that they are together promoting a more sustainable future, where the awareness of apparently minor actions and positive consequences generated, can lead to the achievement of major objectives that improve our lifestyle and behaviour with respect to the whole planet.
