Digital, excellence and growth for Italmobiliare which looks to innovative companies that are able to intercept and guide current transformations
Milan, December 18, 2020 – Today, Italmobiliare completed the acquisition (through a vehicle company) of a shareholding representing 60% of the capital of the company that owns Callmewine.com, as announced last December the 3rd.
The investment, worth about € 13 million, is designed to help finance the plan to develop the platform www.callmewine.com, which has become one of the leading companies in Italy in the e-commerce of wines and spirits, over the next few years. It has a significant growth potential thanks to a combination of digital skills and extensive knowledge of Italian excellence in the wine sector.
Since 2017, Italmobiliare has made investments in Tecnica, Caffè Borbone, Iseo, Autogas, Capitelli, Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella and Casa della Salute, building a diversified portfolio of companies of excellence in Made in Italy.
Vitale&Co S.p.A. acted as advisor in this transaction, Long Term Partners and Pedersoli Studio Legale assisted Italmobiliare on the business and legal aspects, Alonzo Committeri & Partners for the fiscal due diligence, while LCA Studio Legale assisted the shareholders of Callmewine.
